Celebs to dress black for #Metoo protest at Golden Globe Awards
“This movement is spreading rampantly and pretty much all the nominated women and others attending are participating”, while the stylists who already did fittings are now changing out their clients’ original picks for Globes
LOS ANGELES: Hollywood isn’t getting over the sexual harassment hype and it will be walking down the red carpet for Golden Globe Awards with famous women dressed in black gowns.
Hollywood ladies have planned to dress for protest at the Golden Globe Awards, in the wake of the recently hyped up sexual harassment claims.
Updates tell that the most famous women in Hollywood will be donning black gowns at the awards show, attracting more than 30 protestants to opt for a dark hue.
“This movement is spreading rampantly and pretty much all the nominated women and others attending are participating”, while the stylists who already did fittings are now changing out their clients’ original picks for Globes, the sources announced.
Progressing similar tribute, The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, to be held on January 22, will opt for female presenters this year around, as announced earlier this week, while The Good Place star Kristen Bell will host the awards show as SAG Awards executive producer Kathy Connell says will pay tribute to women.
“This is a unifying salute to women who have been very brave and speaking up,” Connell said referring to the era as the year of the women.
The 75th annual Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast live on January 8.
