Indian varsity issues student's marksheet bearing Salman Khan’s photo

AGRA:  There’s nothing out of the ordinary if a student receives his mark sheet.

 However, an Indian university recently issued a mark sheet to one of its students bearing the photo of Bollywood’s leading actor of current times, Mr. Salman Khan.

Published by an Aligarh-based degree college named Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar University that is affiliated to the Agra University, the incident was fortunately brought to the notice of concerned authorities prior to the final distribution of mark sheets to the students.

Meanwhile, a picture of the mark sheet has gone viral over the social media. 

Identified as belonging to a student of BA first year at Amrata Singh Memorial Degree College in Tejpur Java of Aligarh district, the single document has created a buzz amongst the top-tier university administration.

However, the spokesperson for Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Dr Girija Shankar maintained a different stance in this regard.

Denying any faults made on the university’s part Shankar said, “It is the student who fills the form and pastes his photo which is forwarded by the college principal after verification. An invigilator also checks the content.

We have verified our records which were found to be correct.”
