Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal triggers Twitter storm with outrageous comments
Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal on Monday triggered a storm on social media with his outrageous remarks that renowned Indian writer and human rights activist Arundati Roy should be tied to an army jeep, a reference to an incident in which an army officer tied a Kashmiri man to his vehicle as human shield last month.
Rawal, a ruling party lawmaker, tweeted “"Instead of tying stone pelter on the army jeep tie up Arundhati Roy!"

Arundhati Roy is known for her has been a vocal critic of the army's role in occupied Kashmir.
Street protests flared in recent weeks as thousands of Kashmiris vented anger against abuses by Indian forces after a video emerged of a local man tied to the front of an army jeep and used as a human shield.
