LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s Anti-corruption Unit has suspended all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz from playing cricket for a month in spot-fixing scandal.
Mohammad Nawaz is accused of having contacts with bookies.
The ban will be effective from May 16, the PCB said Wednesday.
Besides a month suspension, Mohammad Nawaz has been fined Rs200,000 for breaching anti-corruption code.
