KINGSTON, Jamaica: Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq has completed his 5,000 runs in Test career when he reached 49 during the Pakistan second innings on the fourth day of the first Test against West Indies here Sabina Park on Monday.
He has become the seventh Pakistani batsman to reach this milestone in his 73rd Test. Earlier, Younis Khan, Javed Miandad, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Yousuf, Saleem Malik and Zaheer Abbas had made 5,000 or more runs in Test cricket.
Overall, the 43-year-old batsman is the 91st player in Test cricket world.
