Me and Aamir haven't talked about work for years: Shah Rukh Khan

MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan shot down rumours that he would be working with Aamir Khan after the two had a get together on Aamir's 52nd birthday.

Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan haven't been known to be close to each other. In fact, the two have competed for the number one slot in the Indian film industry well over two decades now. However, during the past couple of years, the two stars have exchanged warm wishes and had a couple of meetings. Shah Rukh went to Aamir Khan's house on his 52nd birthday and according to the Raees star, he wasn't there to talk business.

"We don’t talk work, we haven’t spoken work for years. He was in town. He has just been in town, I have been in town and last 2-3 months, he has come home sometimes but nothing, there is nothing work wise that we have discussed," he said.

Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in The Ring which will star Bollywood beauty Anushka Sharma whereas Aamir Khan will team up with Amitabh Bachchan to star in the Vijay Krishna Acharya-directed Thugs of Hindostan.

The two Khans may not be pairing up with each other anytime soon to star in a film but it's always good to see them sharing a good rapport with each other.
