DUBAI: Pakistan set a reasonable target of 161 for West Indies in the second Twenty20 International here at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
Sent into bat by the West Indies, Pakistan made 160 for four in the 20 overs as skipper Sarfraz Ahmed top scored with an unbeaten 46 from 32 balls.
He was followed by Khalid Latif (40) and Shoaib Malik (37) while Babar Azam made 19 and Sharjeel Khan could score only two runs.
Khalid and Babar together made 54 runs for the second wicket and later Shoaib and Sarfraz added 69 for the fourth wicket stand.
Pakistan and West Indies both kept the same eleven, with Pakistan resisting the temptation of playing Mohammad Amir, who was also rested for the first game.
Pakistan lead the three-match series 1-0 after romping to a nine-wicket win in the first game -- also in Dubai -- on Friday.
The third match will be played in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
