LAHORE: Singer Humaira Arshad has confirmed receiving first divorce from her husband Ahmed Butt after the couple mutually decided to part ways.
Humaira said that she and Butt had mutually decided to break their ties and she has been living with her mother for the last two months.
She said that legal formalities and religious requirements in this regard would soon be fulfilled.
In May, Humaira accused Butt of deceit, domestic violence and attempts to kidnap her four-year-old son.
