Final Fantasy 14's Bygone Serenity music box is up for pre-order
The 18-note Dawntrail collectible, inspired by Living Memory, is up for pre-order at £24.99
Final Fantasy 14: Bygone Serenity is officially scheduled to release in May 2027, giving fans a new collectible inspired by one of Dawntrail's most memorable locations. Square Enix has made it possible for the music box to be pre-ordered via their official online store.
The Final Fantasy 14 has grown into more than what it used to be since it has become a full-fledged world including music, concerts, and merchandise.
Collectibles are important to some players since they represent the characters and places that meant a lot to them.
Bygone Serenity is one such release, drawing inspiration from Living Memory, a location introduced in the Dawntrail expansion.
Final Fantasy 14: Bygone Serenity Music Box Details
The Bygone Serenity music box features an 18-note arrangement inspired by Living Memory. Its design includes Sphene's tiara silhouette printed across the top of the case, connecting the collectible to the character and setting associated with the song.
The music box measures approximately 61mm wide, 53mm deep and 40mm high, making it a compact addition to a Final Fantasy 14 collection. The case is made from acrylic resin, while the internal mechanism uses iron and zinc.
The price of this collectible is set by Square Enix at £24.99, and customers can place orders on the website of Square Enix. Please be advised that the price mentioned above does not take into account the cost of delivery, among others.
Living Memory will prove to be essential to the future storyline of Dawntrail, which deals largely with memory, grief and preserving the past. In addition, atmosphere and music contribute to the significance of these events, thus making this location memorable to most players.
Bygone Serenity gives gamers an opportunity to relive that particular moment without playing the game. It is worth noting that Bygone Serenity does not just represent the symbol of the franchise but is based on one particular character and location from the game.
The release also follows Square Enix's wider approach to Final Fantasy merchandise, which includes music boxes, albums, concerts and other collectibles inspired by the series' characters and soundtracks.
