Lindsay Clancy's lawyer gains following among her supporters
Lindsay Clancy, the attorney, also reportedly made a startling defence of her in court
Lindsay Clancy, an attorney, and Kevin Reddington have been highlighted in defending the mom-of-three accused of killing her children.
Though the legal case has become a lightning rod in America, two sides have emerged in support and in opposition.
With his strenuous defence, Reddington has carved a support base among those rooting for Clancy.
This is what Billy Bush, a Fox News contributor, said in a recent interview.
"Big Red goes out to the parking lot," the journalist said, referring to the lawyer's nickname, which he gained during the case; they are Big Red and Shreddington.
At their place, Bush said, Reddington regularly engaged with the journalists and supporters present outside the court to cover the sensational trial.
"He talks to the different people who are covering this in their own way. He asks them questions about themselves."
"He sits there in a lawn chair, having coffee and connecting with everybody," the journalist said.
Among the people are also included women following the case who "support Lindsay Clancy," according to Bush.
"But they love Reddington because he's the man who's fighting for her," he told Fox News.
"And they're all seeing him as that guy, 'Geez, I'd like that man fighting for me someday if I needed it.'"
Meanwhile, at Clancy's hearing, Reddington made an argument that surprised some and shook the prosecution team.
He said how credible the proof is to decide that the mom of three herself killed her children back in 2023 at her home.
Thus, he filed a Rule 25 motion, meaning he asked Judge William Sullivan to dismiss the case, but he has not ruled yet.
