'Reacher' seasons, especially the fourth, have been an outstanding success.

For Amazon Prime Video, Reacher appears to be a gold mine, suggesting season five is in the works.

But the streamer already greenlit season six after observing the strong reception season four received.

According to Variety, season four raked in 66 million viewers globally within a month of its August 12 release.

These whopping statistics pushed season four into the top five most-watched originals of all time.

But season four is no outlier; across the seasons, Reaher has reportedly hit millions of viewers worldwide.

The success of the action-thriller series spawned a spin-off on the character Neagley, led by Maria Sten.

Peter Friedlander, Amazon MGM Studios' head of global television, said, “‘Reacher’ hits hard.”

Referring to the author whose novel Reacher is based on, the exec said, "What Lee Child has built, and Nick Santora and his creative teams have brought to life is, simply, incredible."

Then, Friedlander raved about Alan Ritchson, the actor who portrayed the imposing character.

"Alan Ritchson is Jack Reacher — he’s delivered a performance that has captivated audiences around the world."

"Together with our partners at Paramount Television Studios, we couldn’t be more excited to continue this journey," he added.

"Reacher is a truly iconic series, and we’re thrilled to be on the ride with this extraordinary cast and crew for Season Six," the exec said.

At the moment, it is not yet confirmed which Lee Child novel season Six of Reacher is adapting.
