Marisa Tomei reveals her love seeing Tom Holland and Zendaya ‘soar’

Marisa Tomei spoke about her “busy year.”

It is worth noting here that Marisa portrayed the character of Aunt May in the Spider Man films, while Tom Holland played the iconic Peter Parker. However, they had worked together in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home as well as in Spider-man: No Way Home.

Moreover, the actress has many projects in the works including the Mongoose, She Gets It from Me, War, Hellhound and she is also returned as Aunt Mary in the new Spider-Man movie.

In a recent interview with People Magazine, the Oscar winning actress shared that “It’s been a seriously busy year!.”

Marisa opened up about finding projects that felt right after a long time, saying, “It’s nice, after an enforced fallow period, to find things that were speaking to me that I could say yes to.”

“It feels like, energetically, things needed a certain amount of time before they clicked back into place.” She continued, “It’s nice.”

Marisa also opened up about how happy she is for her young Spider-Man costars, Tom and Zendaya who recently got married, stating, “It’s been very exciting to see them soar,”

Adding, “And to watch their lives change and have this abundance. It’s been a deep, deep joy for me.”

Sharing her gratitude for being part of the Spider-Man franchise, the veteran actress said, “The Spider-Man movies are so exquisitely constructed, and I’m very humbled to be a part of it.”

“For my character to be the female mentor to this young man, this neighborhood hero? It’s very cool,” the actress further added.
