Kanye West clears up Russian concert confusion with website move

Kanye West earlier shared his buzz-worthy shows in Russia.

Anticipation for the rapper was so high in the country that, according to Say Agency, the promoter, over 100,000 tickets were sold for his two shows in St Petersburg on October 10 and 11.

But Gazprom Arena – the site where the show is said to take place – supposedly threw a spanner in the works.

The stadium said no rental agreement was signed for the shows.

This created confusion because Say Agency has been urging fans not to pay heed to rumours as the shows are still set to happen at the venue.

But reports from the Russian outlets Fontanka and Rotonda, which suggest the officials have not greenlit the concerts yet, added fuel to the fire.

Now, West, though not directly, but through his website, perhaps revealed the status of his shows when he removed the dates from there, according to Meduza.
