Jelly Roll’s comedy plans took centre stage.

According to Radar Online, after serving as a guest host on Jimmy Kimmel Live for four nights, the country singer is now considering a new career in stand-up comedy.

In his four-night guest hosting, the singer welcomed stars including Glen Powell, Henry Winkler, Stevie Nicks, Nathan Fillion, Leslie Mann, and Bert Kreischer, with a few more.

As an insider has revealed to the outlet, "Jelly is seriously talking about doing stand-up dates."

Adding, "He walked off that Kimmel stage absolutely buzzing. He loves singing, but getting an immediate laugh is a completely different high."

The source noted, "Jelly realized comedy gives him permission to say exactly what he thinks."

"He's already joking that his next tour might not even require a band," they further added.

It is pertinent to mention here that Jelly recently parted ways with his longtime wife, Bunnie XO, in July 2026, after nearly a decade together.

However, the former couple shares two children: daughter Bailee Ann and son Noah Buddy.

For those unaware, the singer has built a nearly two-decade career in country music and rap; moreover, he has many hit singles, including Son of a Sinner, Need a Favor, Save Me, I'm Not Okay, Heart of Stones, Liar, and many others.
