Mike Tyson reflects on infamously biting Evander Holyfield's ear

Supposedly, this has never happened in professional boxing history; it did when Mike Tyson bit his opponent's ear in 1997.

In the infamous fight against Evander Holyfield, he bit him at least twice, leading the referee to disqualify him.

Now, reflecting on the incident in Netflix's new documentary on him, he acknowledged, “I was a nut back then, huh?”

His remarks suggest he understands his behaviour was extreme when he was younger.

This is not the only highlight in the trailer, however.

Tyson also admitted, “This is the dark side of me. That’s just who I became. Addicted to chaos."

That statement prompted the producer to ask, "Why do you feel that way?"

Composing himself, the world-heavyweight champion replied, “You’re making this difficult for me now.”

Then, his wife, Lakiha "KiKi" Spicer, chipped in, saying, “The things that he’s gone through...most people would have just been dead.”

At the end of the trailer, Tyson admitted, “It’s hard to navigate your true self when you really don’t know who the f*** you are.”

The official logline reads, "Tyson will chronicle the sports legend’s life, from his chaotic upbringing in Brooklyn to global superstardom."

Tyson will arrive on Netflix on Oct. 13.
