It is being reported that approximately 100 people who worked behind Kelly Clarkson’s show have hit rock bottom.

For those unaware, The Kelly Clarkson Show, an American syndicated television variety talk show, ran for seven seasons from September 9, 2019, to August 31, 2026, with a total of 1,260 episodes on NBC-owned-and-operated stations.

Notably, the 44-year-old American singer-songwriter left the show after seven seasons to focus on her two children, 12-year-old daughter River Rose and ten-year-old son Remington Alexander, after the death of their father and her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock in August 2025.

Clarkson did not make a sudden decision to leave the show; however, her staff members are in miserable states, as their livelihood depended on the daytime gig, and the current horrible condition of the job market has made their situation extremely worse.

An insider told Radar Online, "Kelly will be fine. She's Kelly Clarkson. She can make another album, tour, do Vegas or return to The Voice. But these people have mortgages, children and health insurance. They don't have Kelly Clarkson money."

Clarkson also stated that bidding farewell to her show was a difficult decision, as she considered her crew as family, but her feelings do not add any value to their lives.

"Where is the help for the people who spent seven years helping make her show a success? Everyone is terrified,” another source quipped.

It is pertinent to mention that Kelly Clarkson’s former husband, Brandon Blackstock, who was a talent manager by profession, passed away at the age of 48 on August 7, 2025, after a three-year battle with melanoma (skin cancer).
