US President Donald Trump recently stepped away from his official meetings and schedule to celebrate a family milestone abroad.

He joined his family in Ireland to mark his grandson Eric "Luke" Trump’s ninth birthday.

The celebration took place during Trump's visit to Ireland, which coincided with the Amgen Irish Open golf tournament.

The family gathered at the Trump International Golf Links and Hotel in Doonbeg, where young Luke was presented with a special sports-themed birthday cake.
