Liam Neeson funniest reaction to still being offered action roles

Liam Neeson opened up about still being offered action roles at 74.

Speaking with People Magazine, Neeson shared what goes through his mind when his agent approaches him with another action project.

He jokingly shared that one of his first concerns is whether the filmmakers actually realize his age. "The conversation with the agent would go, ‘Hey, Chris, I read that. Yeah. He’s 52 years of age. They know what age I am, right? Okay. Thank you.'"

"That’s kinda how it goes," the actor added.

Neeson has become one of Hollywood’s most recognizable action stars over the past two decades, particularly after starring as Bryan Mills in the Taken franchise.

In recent years, he has continued his run of action-heavy roles, appearing in films including In the Land of Saints and Sinners, Absolution, Ice Road: Vengeance, Cold Storage, The Naked Gun and his latest movie, The Fix.

It is pertinent ot mention that Liam Neeson stars opposite Zachary Levi as a former CIA handler who informs Levi’s character about a large amount of money hidden in Tehran following the 1979 U.S. embassy takeover in the new action thriller.

In the interview, Neeson also shared his preference for the movies, saying, "I personally just enjoy the process, being with fellow actors and wonderful crew."

"I love that feeling of togetherness, you know, telling a story. No matter what the genre is, except horror. I won’t do horror," he added.
