Trump ridiculed as 'South Park' makes major Emmy comeback

Donald Trump and South Park often trade barbs now, with the latter making a major award comeback; the series makers did not waste the opportunity.

Winning an Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program, marking the first time the animated series has won in over a decade, the show's creators posted the U.S. president holding the trophy.

The line in the image posted on X read, "You finally got your Emmy."

It is a reference to Trump's two-time being nominated twice for an Emmy for his reality show The Apprentice in 2004 and 2005, respectively.

However, he did not win any.

But what was provocative was the photo depicting Trump with his pants down.

The caption of the post read, “Congratulations to Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and the entire South Park team on their Emmy win for Outstanding Animated Program!”

On the other hand, the South Park co-creator Trey Parker added, “A big thank you to the greatest fans in the world. It’s only because of you guys that we haven’t been canceled in 30 years."

Meanwhile, the feud between South Park and Trump has been long-running, with the latter as the key antagonist in seasons 27 and 28 of the series.

In episodes from those seasons, the American president has been portrayed in an intentionally crude satirical manner.
