Kelly Ripa reveals the 'love' that got gway during Greece trip

Kelly Ripa is looking back at a past love “that got away" during her vacation in Greece.

The TV host is not referring to a love interest that slipped away she is talking about a piece of jewelry she still regrets not buying.

During a recent chat with her husband on Live! With Kelly and Mark, Kelly discussed buying souvenirs while travelling.

“I like to buy souvenirs when I travel,” Kelly said, noting that Mark is not a fan of the idea.

The host then revealed that, according to a survey, jewelry and clothing are among the souvenirs travelers regret not buying.

“Remember that necklace in Greece that I saw, that one- like five years ago?” she asked Mark, who seemingly did not remember the necklace.

“Of course you don't. You blocked it out. But I remember. I still remember,” Kelly said sarcastically.

The TV personality then went on to say that she “still" thinks about it.

"It's the one that got away," she added of the necklace.

The conversation came after the couple admitted that they have very different travel styles. Kelly said Mark can be difficult to travel with, especially while going to and returning from a vacation.

“You are fun on the trip, but getting to the trip, and even worse, coming home from the trip. The fun on the trip, it almost makes it all worth it,” she said. “It’s just the insufferable nature of getting to the trip and coming home from the trip that makes me not want to take the trip at all.”

Mark then suggested, “We should fly home separately,” to which Kelly replied, “Oh my gosh, I agree.”
