Nia Sanchez and Danny Booko have confirmed they will not be returning for season 4 of The Valley.

The TV stars announced the shocking decision via a joint statement shared on Instagram on Tuesday, September 1.

"We wanted to share a quick update that we will not be returning to The Valley," Nia and Danny penned. "We’re incredibly grateful for this experience but our priority is protecting our peace and our family.”

“We are fully committed to each other and our beautiful children,” the post continued. “We want to thank everyone for all the love and support you’ve shown us."

Concluding the post, they wrote, "Thank you to Bravo and the team for everything. We are looking forward to what the next chapter brings. With so much love, Danny + Nia.”

Commenting on the couple's shocking exit, an insider told US Weekly that Bravo producers “felt their relationship and dynamic with the cast was not as organic as other couples.”

News of Nia and Danny leaving the show comes after the couple faced intense criticism from fans during the third season of the popular series.

During an episode of The Valley that aired in May, Danny raised eyebrows for how he spoke to Nia while she was doing his makeup for what was supposed to be a friendly drag competition.

After the dispute, Danny publicly apologized to his wife, but in June he said that the fans' hatred toward him had not yet subsided.
