Gigi Hadid makes shocking fashion comeback
Gigi Hadid returns to the fashion label ‘as a mom’
Gigi Hadid’s surprising fashion comeback revealed.
The supermodel reunited with Stuart Weitzman after nearly a decade as the brand celebrated its 40th anniversary.
It is worth noting here that Gigi first collaborated with the brand in 2016 for its spring 2016 campaign and remained the face of Stuart Weitzman for five successive seasons.
Now, the campaign features three supermodels from different backgrounds: Gigi Hadid, Misty Copeland, and Yang Mi, as per People magazine.
The outlet displayed some exclusive pictures from the campaign, including one in which Gigi Hadid can be seen standing under a sky, wearing a fitted sleeveless bodysuit with a deep neckline and completing the look with high fitted boots.
Reflecting a longtime association with the brand, Gigi said in a press release, “I will always have a special connection to Stuart Weitzman as the brand was one of my first-ever luxury fashion partners, so to come back now, 10 years later, and as a mom, to celebrate their 40th anniversary feels like a full-circle moment.”
On the other hand, the ballerina, Misty, revealed that the campaign followed her recent hip surgery, saying, “The last Stuart Weitzman campaign I did was one of my favorites I’ve ever done, so I jumped at the opportunity to come back to celebrate their 40th…well, not jumped, seeing it was only months after my hip surgery, but I was thrilled, and I couldn’t be prouder to help tell the message of rising above any obstacle.”
Meanwhile, the Chinese actress and fashion figure, Yang Mi, reflected on her first collaboration with the brand, “I’m thrilled to reunite with Stuart Weitzman on its 40th anniversary. Looking back on our first collaboration in 2019, SW brought me to a broader global stage and expanded my fashion horizons,” she said.
“Now, we’re coming together again to mark this milestone — because true confidence comes from within. The first journey took me outward, the second inward. SW has been there, helping me know myself better. We’ve always believed that every woman can find her own rhythm, in her own time, between strength and grace,” Yang further noted.
