David Beckham reveals why he's 'so proud' of son Romeo on his special day

David Beckham is a proud father as he celebrates his "sweet" and "kind" son Romeo Beckham's special day.

The former football player took to his Instagram account on Tuesday and penned down a heartfelt note to his "amazing" son, along with unseen father-son throwback picture.

The doting dad wrote, "Happy Birthday mate, we love you so much and I'm so proud of you for all you are as a person, sweet, kind and just an amazing young man."

"Love you so so much have the best day ever you deserve it," David added.

The first slide in the carousel features a cute black-and-white father-son picture in which David can be seen planting a kiss on Romeo's head.

Other images show younger Romeo playing football, his unfiltered photo taken at home, and getting cozied up in a sweet embrace with dad David.

Romeo rushed to the comment section to show his love for his father, writing, "love you" along with red heart emojis.

Victoria also slipped into the comment section and expressed her motherly love for Romeo, noting, "We love you so much Romeo."

It is pertinent to mention that David and Victoria Beckham are also parents to son Brooklyn, Cruz and daughter Harper.

Victoria, on the other hand, also penned down a gushing note for her incredible second kid along with sweet photos of Romeo.

She wrote, "Romeo, you have the biggest smile and an even bigger heart. You are smart, kind and loved by us all so much. We are so proud of the incredible young man you have become. You treat everyone with such respect and kindness."
