Diana, the Princess of Wales’s death falls today on Monday
Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer and his new wife Prof Cat Spencer marked the 29th death anniversary of the late Princess of Wales on Monday.
Taking to Instagram, Spencer shared photos of Althorp house, Princess Diana’s childhood home, with flag flying half-mast with a heartfelt note.
He shared the post with caption, “31 August. My least favourite day.”
The 29th anniversary of Diana, Princess of Wales’s death falls today on Monday, just days after her youngest son Prince Harry returned home with his family to live in the UK.
Meanwhile, Charles Spencer has announced to publish a book about his sister's life, promising to divulge the truth about her ahead of the 30th anniversary of her death.
Diana, the first wife of King Charles, died aged 36 in August 1997 when the car carrying her crashed in the Pont de L’Alma tunnel in Paris as it sped away from chasing paparazzi photographers on motorbikes.
"Swan Song: Diana, My Sister" penned by her brother, known as Earl Spencer, is slated to be released in Britain and published around the world, telling the story about Diana, from his perspective, according to its publisher Michael Joseph, a division of Penguin Random House.
"With the 30th anniversary of Diana’s tragic death on the skyline, I’ve been inundated yet again with requests for interviews about my sister," Spencer said in a statement.
