'Games of Thrones' star reveals witchcraft attempt to manifest her dream movie role

Games of Thrones actress Maisie Williams has made claims of doing witchcraft to help her land a dream movie role.

The actress, who also stars in Practical Magic 2, revealed that her manifestation for a movie role took her to an "Etsy witch."

“I paid an Etsy witch to give me a role, to help me manifest a role in a movie,” Maisie told British Vogue at the European premiere of Practical Magic 2 in London.

And the witch told her some things that she had "to say every night.”

Despite religiously doing the ritual of the prescribed words, Maisie shared “it didn't happen”.

Practical Magic 2 is all set to release on 11 September all over the UK, starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman as the pair are reprising their witchy role after almost 30 years.

In the upcoming movie, Maisie Williams plays Antonia Owens, the grown-up daughter of Sally Owens, portrayed by Sandra. Sally also has another daughter Kylie Owens, played by Joey King.

In the sequel to the 1998 original, Sally and her sister Gillian Owen (portrayed by Nicole) will confront a multi-generational curse threatening their family after three decades.

During the same premiere of Practical Magic 2, Nicole told the Press Association that it was “gratifying” to return for the sequel after three decades

Gushing over her co-star Sandra, Kidman noted, "The bickering, the joking… We are the same people that we were back then, except now we have children.”
