White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt hugged Donald Trump during the president’s South Carolina rally backing Darline Graham.

Meanwhile, hecklers interrupted President Donald Trump campaigning on Friday for political novice Darline Graham in the race for her late brother's Senate seat, a contest that could test the White House's political clout before November's midterm elections.

Last week, Trump said Karline Leavitt will leave her role at the end of the month.

Leavitt will be an outside communications adviser and party operative shaping the future contours of Trump's "Make America Great Again" movement, she and Trump said in statements.

Leavitt called her role at the White House "the honor and adventure of a lifetime."
