Inde Navarrette turns down major ‘Heat 2’ role for ‘X-Men’: Here’s what we know
Inde Navarrette becomes the talk of the town after 'Obsession'
Inde Navarrette, shot to stardom from Obsession — a sleeper hit of Hollywood in 2026 — has become such a talk of the town that she is reportedly turning down key roles.
Recently, at just 25, the actress became one of the faces of Marvel's rebooting X-Men, starring as Rogue.
But while accepting the role, she has to pass down another major role.
According to Page Six, it is in Michael Mann's hotly anticipated sequel to Heat, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale.
Reports say the role she was offered in the 1995 crime classic is that of Sharlene, which actress Ashley Judd originally played.
However, the alleged list of Navarrette turning down roles didn't stop there.
A role in a horror movie whose title was not revealed and the offer of a jaw-dropping $2.5 million was also passed on.
These rejections led a well-known producer to tell Page Six that the actress is currently on "everyone's short list" after her critically acclaimed performance in inde.
With offers within the mid-seven-figure range, it spotlights a stunning rise for the Navarrette, who was reportedly paid only $20,000 for Obsession.
Meanwhile, X-Men is in the works and set to hit cinemas in 2028.
