Chris Evans's latest words about his baby girl metls hearts

Chris Evans won hearts with his latest remarks about his newborn daughter Alma.

In a new interview with Dodo, the 45-year-old actor shared how much he misses her baby girl while he is at work.

When he was asked, “What’s been the most unexpected part of fatherhood so far?”

The Marvel star replied that it seems strange as he wants to be around her all the time.

“Oh man, I guess it sounds cheesy but not to other parents. How much you miss them. You know we’ll put her down for nap and I’m just like oh I want to see what she is looking on the baby monitor," Chris said.

“You miss her while you’re holding her. It’s a strange feeling. You just wanna be around her all the time," he added.

Chris recently attended the Fan Expo Boston 2026 event, where he opened up about how welcoming a baby girl has shifted his mindset on his acting career.

“I have a daughter now. You need a really good reason to want to go to work now,” Evans told the crowd. “[My] priorities have shifted a bit.”

For those unversed, the Captain America star tied the knot with Portuguese actress Alba Baptista in 2023.

The couple began getting close after meeting in Europe in 2021 while shooting separate projects.

Chris and Alba announced the birth of their baby in October 2025.
