David Beckham brings Victoria back to the place that witnessed their secret love in 1997

Sir David Beckham and Victoria Beckham are taking a stroll back in memory lane, where their love story began almost three decades ago.

The former English footballer took to his Instagram account on Sunday to share that he and Victoria are back at the hotel in Portofino, a place they visited during their early days of romance when no one knew they had fallen in love.

The doting husband shared a sweet video of his wife walking into the hotel wearing a black corset dress with a sheer net trail with multi color flowers embroidery.

In the second slide, the pair lovingly posed in front of beautiful scenery, apparently after sunset.

David gushed in the caption. "29 years ago we came to portofino to this hotel before anyone knew we were dating and here we are back again @victoriabeckham Portofino 97."

Victoria also posted a similar snap and an additional picture in a brown maxi dress.

In the snap, she can be seen posing with a pout towards David's cheek as the pair is matching in brown.

Victoria gushed under the post, "Back in Portofino where we began in 1997 x I love you @davidbeckham."

For those unversed, Victoria and David began dating in 1997 and got engaged in 1998.

After the pair welcomed their first kid in March of 1999, they tied the knot in July of the same year.

The loving couple are parents to four kids, Brooklyn, Romeo, Crus and Harper.
