Dolly Parton was forced to pull out of another major appearance due to ongoing health issues.
The 80-year-old actress and singer pulled out of her appearance at her iconic Dollywood theme park after her doctor ordered her not to travel.
Dolly was due to appear in person at the opening ceremony of the theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday.
“I’m still in Nashville, and I’m sorry about that,” the 9 to 5 songstress said in a video played at the event.
“I’m supposed to be there in person, like we planned,” the Grammy winner continued. “Now I’ve told you before, all my fans, that I have had a few little health issues. And sometimes I get a little dizzy, and I get dehydrated.”
"And I’m dehydrated,” Dolly told the crowd. “And so my Nashville doctor clipped my wings, saying you ain’t traveling this week.”
“So I guess if your doctor tells you you ain’t traveling this week, you ain’t traveling this week,” seh added. “But I like to keep all of you in the loop, like I said I would on everything.”
Dolly was last seen in public at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of 'Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop’ in late June.
