Travis Barker revealed how 2008 plane crash affected him.

In an interview with People magazine the Blink-182 drummer recalled the trauma which came along with his 2008 plane crash.

“I would go from my tour bus to the hotel, and no one would see me. I would just hide out. I was so afraid. I was just waiting for an impact on the bus. I was just like, ‘Oh, I’m next. I’m going to go anytime,” he said.

Adding, “You’re never ready for that. You’re never ready for one of your best friends to pass away, especially someone who just survived a plane crash with me.”

However, the rock star said that fear gradually became less and how thoughts about his late friends helped in it, saying, “The further I got away from almost dying, things got a little bit easier.”

Noting, “Those things help me push forward.”

For those unaware, the tragic plane crash happened on September 19, 2008, when Travis Barker was coming back from a T-Mobile Boulevard Block Party, Columbia, South Carolina back to California.

Six people were on board among which Travis and Adam Goldstein were the only survivors while, Chris Baker, James Bland, Sarah Lemmon, Charls Still Jr and Chris Baker died on spot.
