Piers Morgan shares new details on Cristiano Ronaldo's marriage
The journalist says Ronaldo and Georgina’s wedding was also attended by their five children
Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo married his longtime girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez on Tuesday in a civil and private ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, according to his management.
When the football star shared a picture on Instagram suggesting he got married, 25 million people liked his post within a few hours.
Senior British journalist Piers Morgan also shared the couple’s photo on Instagram, revealing some extra details about the wedding guests.
Morgan wrote, “Congrats to my friends Cristiano and Georgina on their marriage! The ceremony in Portugal today was a “private and intimate moment” attended by their five children. They’re a great couple, and I wish them both a long and happy marriage together. Parabéns!
Ronaldo, 41, is one of football's most decorated players, winning trophies at Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and current club Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has been in a relationship with Rodriguez since 2016.
