'Love Island USA' alum JaNa Craig opens up about controlling 'fear'

JaNa Craig recently got candid and opened up about accepting new opportunities after facing unexpected circumstances in her 20s.

While chatting with PEOPLE at T-Mobile’s Club Magenta at Lollapalooza, the Love Island USA alum reflected on her forthcoming plans and the career opportunities she has been eyeing for some time.

Craig said, “I turn 30 at the end of this year. It’s a whole new chapter. I’m so excited. I learned so much in my 20s, so I’m so grateful and extremely excited for what the 30s will bring me.”

She went on to show her excitement about her future and “the idea of the unknown.”

“I try not to let fear ever get control of me. I like to embrace the unknown. So, knowing that I have no idea what’s gonna happen next is what’s the most exciting part of it all,” Craig quipped.

The influencer shared that she seeks advice from Love Island host Ariana Madix because she “gives amazing advice” despite having many people to lean on.

“She had to calm me down real, real hard last year,” she said, adding that a lot of A-listers have also approached her and offered her support and guidance.

Now, Craig is looking forward to saying “yes to everything,” revealing, “My most recent, exciting project was a scripted film.”

“I’ve never done scripted. I’m always little miss unscripted [so I can] say what I want. So it’s really fun to channel into a new character.”

“I can’t share exactly what it is, but when you guys see it, it’s so funny. I’ll give you a hint. It goes really good with who you guys first met me off. That’s the only hint I can give you. You’ll see very soon,” JaNa Craig said.
