Tom Holland has a plan to pass on his powers to the next Spider-Man.

During an appearance on the latest episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the 30-year-old actor said that he is excited to pass on the iconic superhero suit to the next actor.

“There’s a whole plan that we have been working on for, I would say, since we finished [2021’s] Spider-Man: No Way Home,” Tom said.

He further said, “It’s laid out. It’s gonna change for sure, but I have a really clear vision to the passing on of the baton, and I think it’s really exciting."

“I know I get really excited when we have these meetings and chat about it,” Tom added. “But that is the thing I want to do most in this character, for sure.”

Tom's new MCU film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, is currently playing in cinemas.

It is worth mentioning here that Tom is the third to portray the heroic role for the silver screen, following Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

In a recent interview with Esquire, the Hollywood star named Owen Cooper as his potential Spider-Man successor.

“Owen Cooper would be awesome,” Tom told the outlet in June. “Obviously he’s super-talented and the talk of the town right now.”
