Matt Damon gives credit to female stunt double in 'The Odyssey'

Matt Damon credited a female stunt double from The Odyssey.

During his appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the actor revealed that one of the film's standout action moments actually featured a female stunt double with what he called "the greatest arms" he'd ever seen.

"When we did the forced perspective stuff of the Laestrygonians ... there were these stunt men who were all seven feet," he said.

Adding, "My double was a woman, a female stunt performer — who had the greatest arms I’ve ever seen."

Damon recalled thanking his female double "for all the work she put in."

"So it was almost 100% my arms in the movie. You gotta give it up where it’s due," he said.

It is pertinent to mention that Matt Damon previously revealed he slimmed down to 167 pounds to play the legendary Greek hero, describing The Odyssey as the most physically challenging project of his career.

Directed by Christopher Nolan, The Odyssey also stars Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron and Lupita Nyong'o.
