Mel B, famed as a Spice Girls member, revealed that her worst moment during her band's peak was finding out Geri Horner had left the pop group.

The 51-year-old star, whose real name is Melanie Janine Brown, admitted that it was a devastating moment for her because she did not know why Geri, known as Ginger Spice, parted ways from her fellow WannaBe hitmakers, including Victoria Beckham, Mel C, and Emma Bunton.

Mel B told the Daily Telegraph newspaper, "[The worst Spice Girls moment was] finding out Geri had left us on May 29, 1998. It was my birthday.

"We’ve all talked about it since, and I understand why, but at the time it was devastating because I just didn’t know why."

On the other hand, Mel B also revealed the best moments she had while being part of the Spice Girls.

While she struggled to pick one the next moment, she noted, "Either meeting Nelson Mandela, playing Wembley or spending a day with Harry and William. They were young princes and we made them peanut butter and jam sandwiches in Kensington Palace."

Mel B added, "They were such cute kids – I can’t remember whether it was William or Harry who had a crush on Emma, but they were so polite and charming and gorgeous."

Victoria Beckham also talked about Geri's sudden exit. She said on the Call Her Daddy podcast, "She just left. I was on the phone to Geri this morning about something completely different and we even laughed about it.

"She just left and we had no idea until she just didn't turn up. We can laugh about it now but at the time we were like, 'OK.'"

It is pertinent to mention that the Spice Girls broke up in 2001, a few years after Geri Halliwell's exit.
