Sutton Foster, Hugh Jackman aren't getting married yet: Here’s why
Sutton Foster puts wedding plans with Hugh Jackman on hold
Sutton Foster is reportedly not in a rush to walk down the aisle with Hugh Jackman.
On Sunday, an insider spilled to RadarOnline.com that the 51-year-old actor is putting "wedding plans on ice" over Hugh's "self-centered and needy" behavior.
"Sutton loves Hugh dearly, but he can be very self-centered and needy," the source said.
"She's very sympathetic, but she didn't sign up to be Hugh's emotional caretaker, and she wants a partner, not someone she needs to coddle," the insider added.
The insider further told the outlet that the couple, who publicly launched their relationship last fall, is looking into therapy.
"Until Hugh finds more solid footing, Sutton feels like they need to put all the marriage talk on the back burner," a tipster claimed.
For those unversed, Sutton filed for divorce from her ex-husband, Ted Griffin, in New York County Supreme Court in October 2024.
Hugh was previously married to Deborra-Lee Furness. The two finalized their divorce in June 2025, after 27 years of marriage.
At the time, sources stated that the Deadpool & Wolverine actor was "ready to take full responsibility for his part in the breakdown of their marriage."
The confidant added that Hugh "never intended to hurt" Deborra-Lee.
