Did Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce wedding change Michael Rubin's white party plans?

Michael Rubin has set the record straight on the speculations surrounding the date of his star-studded White Party.

In an interview with People Magazine, Michael finally addressed the rumours that he rescheduled the annual event to avoid clashing with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding.

He told the outlet that he was aware of reports that Taylor and Travis are expected to tie the knot over the Fourth of July weekend. Michael said, "We were debating the dates. We were certainly aware of that date, but we didn't change it because of that date."

"But we were aware of that date and we didn't want to have people have to choose," he added.

This comes as White Party this year is held on Wednesday, July 1, instead of on Independence Day. Michael shared that the exclusive Hamptons gathering has only taken place on the actual Fourth of July once since its debut in 2021 and said guests attend regardless of the date.

He said, "People come to the White Party no matter when we do it... The White Party is going to be spectacular."

Furthermore, Michael Rubin also predicted an action-packed July for New York, pointing to the White Party, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's rumoured wedding, Fanatics Fest, the FIFA World Cup final and the ESPY Awards.

"I'll tell you one thing. I think the stars are going to be in New York from July 1 till July 19. New York's never seen anything like this," he said.
