Jenna Leigh Green drops bombshell about her role in 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' after decades
Jenna Leigh Green shares how it felt playing her role in 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch'
Jenna Leigh Green opened up about portraying a mean girl in Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
For those unaware, the 51-year-old American actress and singer played the role of Libby Chessler in the famous sitcom that started airing from September 27, 1996, to April 24, 2003.
At the Sabrina the Teenage Witch 30th reunion show, Green told PEOPLE magazine about her character, saying, “Who wouldn't want to go to work every single day and just get to be so rotten and so mean and say it with a smile so that you kind of had that air of like, ‘Wait, did she really just say that?’”
"Then they said cut at the end of the day, and we all went and got a burger,” she quipped.
Since the famous head cheerleader, Chessler, was always mean to Melissa Joan Hart’s character, Sabrina Spellman, she kept casting her spell her magic on Chessler to get revenge.
Green went on to admit that playing Chessler was “so fun” primarily because she got a chance "to live out these dreams of the mean girl.”
“The real mean girls have no idea that they're mean girls, which is why anyone else who was possibly bullied or had to deal with those girls in school could watch it and they knew what it was.”
“Because when you are that girl, you don't think you're that girl,” Jenna Leigh Green noted.
