Rod Stewart has sparked serious concerns about his health after he was close to losing consciousness during his recent concert.

During his concert at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in West Valley City, Utah, on Friday, June 19, the 81-year-old British singer and songwriter had to halt his show mid-performance as he looked in excruciating pain and used an oxygen tank to stabilise shortness of breath backstage, according to TMZ.

The video obtained by the outlet showed Stewart leaning over during his show until the oxygen tank was brought.

After his condition got better, the Forever Young crooner returned to the stage and directly informed the audience about his condition, sharing that he nearly fainted.

Notably, the rest of the show was done by Stewart sitting in his chair, as he feared he might go through the same situation.

This comes after he made an announcement, telling his fans that some of his residency performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas would be rescheduled as his doctor “ordered a bit more rest.”

It is pertinent to mention Rod Stewart called off four of his shows and postponed two more in Nevada and California that were scheduled as part of his One Last Time Tour, which will end on August 15, 2026, at the Morton Amphitheater in Kansas City, Missouri.
