Chloe Bailey reveals why she feels 'ripped' ahead of 'Strung' release
Chloe Bailey opens up about her biggest insecurity ahead of release of her film 'Strung'
Chloe Bailey recently reflected on her negative body image as she opened up about her fitness goal for the summer of 2026.
In a talk with PEOPLE magazine to promote her forthcoming psychological thriller Strung, the 27-year-old American singer-songwriter and record producer admitted that she feels insecure because of her one body part.
Bailey said, “You know, as a woman, we all have an insecurity … that one little body part. I am a Georgia peach ... I love when my gains go to my lower body, but [it also goes to my arms]. So, I said, 'You know what? I'm gonna get these [arms] real ripped and toned.’”
She went on to share that she has been working hard in the gym to get in shape and her efforts have started paying off.
“I'm like, ‘Yes!' I see back muscles. I see arm muscles! When I'm at the airport and putting my carry-on at the top, I'm not struggling. A man's like, ‘You need help?' I'm like, ‘No!’” the Treat Me crooner added.
Notably, this is not the first time she talked about her body image issues. The Praise This star has been feeling uncomfortable in her own skin for many years.
It is pertinent to mention that Chloe Bailey's upcoming film, Strung, which premiered at the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) on May 27, 2026, is set to be released in the United States on June 26, 2026.
