Justin Trudeau criticized over PDA video with Katy Perry

Justin Trudeau and singer Katy Perry's video of their public display affection has triggered criticism from the former Canadian prime minister political opponents on social media.

In the video widely circulated on social media platforms, Trudeau has been slammed for being  intimate with his girlfriend in the presence of families and children at a public park in Santa Barbara.

His desecrators went a step further by claiming that the videos of their private moments have been staged to dismiss speculation about his gender.  

Trudeau's supporters, however, defended him saying there was nothing in the video to criticize the former prime minister for.

They also dismissed rumors about his sexuality, referring to the children he fathered from his former wife. 

Trudeau was married to Sophie Grégoire till August 2023. The former couple had three children— Xavier, 18, Ella-Grace, 17 and Hadrien 12.
