Meghan Markle’s brand As Ever can go ‘bankrupt by the end of the year’
Meghan Markle’s brand is not doing so well, in the eyes of the market
Despite rumors and reports claiming Meghan Markle’s luxury lifestyle brand is doing well, and even one website error exposing her inventory list for an hour or two—that did not go under the radar of eagle-eyed critics, some sources suggest the opposite.
Some have even gone as fa as to warn that As Ever will go “bankrupt by the end of the year” if the Duchess can sell off her inventory.
In their eyes, “Meghan just can’t move enough product and she can’t expect to sell things at full price with shortened expiration dates. Unless she and Harry have some miracle up their sleeve, there might be no saving this business.”
They even added, “she should hold a sale but she knows she’s going to be wrecked over it. It’s kicking the can down the road though because it’s tick-tock on that As Ever stock.”
For those unversed with the brand itself, it is a curated list of items from candles to jams, preserves, teas, honey, matchboxes, etc etc.
As of right now, people like royal expert Tom Sykes are not convinced that the royals can make it because “the picture that emerges is of a strategy and a commercial operation in freefall.”
