Madonna to reveal new album details in rare TV and radio special
Madonna discusses career and new album in exclusive BBC special
The BBC has confirmed that Madonna will appear on a special episode of Graham Norton for a “world exclusive” interview later this month.
The programme, titled Madonna & Graham, will air on BBC One on Friday, June 26 at 10:40pm. It will also be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 on Saturday, July 4.
The interview was recorded at Koko in Camden, London. The venue is significant in Madonna’s career, as it hosted her first UK performance in 1983 and later the launch of her 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor.
In the special, Madonna talks about her early life in New York, her career, and her long connection with the UK. She also reflects on recent performances and discusses her upcoming album Confessions II, which is set for release on July 3.
The show also includes contributions from her long-time collaborator Stuart Price, who shares details about the making of the new album.
Graham Norton said it was a major moment to interview Madonna at such an iconic location tied to her early career.
The interview is being promoted as a rare, in-depth conversation ahead of her new album release.
