Ariana Grande, Ethan Slater's split gets major twist
Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater's inner circle believes their love story isn't completely over
Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater's love story isn't completely over despite reports that the two are no longer together.
On Wednesday, an insider told Naughty But Nice that the Wicked stars may have reconciled their relationship because their friends say their love story isn't actually over.
As per the insider, Ariana and Ethan's close pals say the latest split feels more like an intermission than a finale.
“These two never seem to stay apart for long,” a source says. “Every time everyone writes them off, they find their way back to each other. Nobody close to them is calling this permanent.”
A few weeks ago, Ariana's mother, Joan Grande, teased the couple's complicated relationship status.
When asked whether her daughter and the Gev V star "were still together," she laughed and responded, “What day is it?”
As per the confidant, Joan's answer perfectly captured the reality of the relationship.
“Their status changes all the time,” the source says. “They can be inseparable one week, taking space the next, and back together before anyone catches up.”
Meanwhile, another source tells the publication that Ethan remains especially optimistic.
“He’s still very much in love with her,” a tipster reveals. “If Ariana leaves the door open even a crack, he’ll walk right through it.”
