Talking about her and Matt's red carpet appearance at the 2026 YouTube Upfront last month, Alex said, “The only rumors that actually came from the carpet were just how miserable my husband and I looked."

“To see people overanalyzing Matt and me as we were earnestly trying to hide this pregnancy, I was so relieved that they were talking about our dynamic, our supposed marital issues, and no one was talking about a potential bump," she continued .

The podcaster added, “It was a win for the Cooper-Kaplans that day.”

During the episode, Alex insisted she and Matt were not on the verge of splitting.

“You read those things, and Matt and I are like, no one in our life, our closest friends, our family, is wondering those things,” she said.

“It is crazy to see the internet be like, ‘Oh my God, they’re on the rocks.’ And we’re like, “Wait, wait. We are? What’s happening?’” Alex continued. “I think that is an odd part of the job that I don’t enjoy.”

Alex added that she and Matt are “great.”

"Matt and I are good. No one needs to worry. Matt and I are great," she added.

For those unversed, the couple exchanged vows in April 2024 in Mexico.
