David Harbour breaks silence on 'explosive' conflict with Millie Bobby Brown

David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown's relationship faced some rumoured tensions during the shooting of the last season of Stranger Things.

However, in his latest interview, the actor has clarified that much of the drama was tabloid exaggeration.

“In this weird world we live in where sound bites will be created, I’m trying to figure out how to say this.”

Though he admitted there had been a brief, limited fallout in his relationship with Brown, it was limited.

Harbour explained that in a span of a decade portraying a father-daughter duo, disagreements tend to crop up.

"It’s a show that went on for 10 years. We worked together for 10 years during her formative teenage years, playing father and daughter."

Comparing his bond with Brown to family, Harbour said, “In families, it’s OK because you’re just in a disagreement and then you come back together."

However, the key problem he shared is when the outside voices get involved in the matter.

"The problem with a billion-dollar show is that there are just hundreds of people who want to get involved.”

To cap off, Harbour said his equation with his co-star is at a good wavelength.

"It was just a simple rupture-and-repair thing that, once we cleared everybody out of the way and talked to each other, we were fine with," he concluded.
