Ashley Benson announces the death of her beloved dog
Ashley Benson is mourning the death of her beloved dog.
The 36-year-old actress took to her Instagram on Monday to announce that her Shih Tzu-Maltese, named Olive, had died.
“My sweet baby girl. You have been by my side for 17 years. You were my best friend. My first child. My whole heart,” Ashley penned while sharing multiple images of her and her dog throughout the years.
“Most loyal loving kind fun and gentle baby I’ve ever met. Mommy will miss you. My heart is in a million pieces. Thank you for giving me the best 17 years of my life,” she concluded.
In one of the shared photos, Olive could be seen resting on Ashley's chest as the two sit on a couch.
Following the sad news, Ashley's former Pretty Little Liars cast mates rushed to the post's comment section to share their condolences.
“I remember when I first met her and how small she was. I know how much you loved her & will continue to. Love you ash. I know this is tough,” Lucy Hale penned.
Keegan Allen commented, “Sweet girl. Sending love to you."
“My heart is breaking for you. I know she is chasing butterflies w Romeo and Juliet but the pain is so real. Love you so much.,” added the Pretty Little Liars executive producer, I. Marlene King.
