British taxpayers fume as Frogmore saga carries on: ‘Stop treating it like revenge!’
Frogmore Cottage has become nothing more than ‘revenge’ laden project in the eyes of angry royal fans and taxpayers
News of repair work and information about all the ways Frogmore will be changed has rubbed many the wrong way, especially since they feel their taxpayer pounds are being used as a ‘revenge project’ that isn’t financially sound.
For those unversed with all that’s being said, a source came forward with the information, and sat with RadarOnline before explained that none of this anger is, “the frustration being expressed isn't really about Harry and Meghan anymore.”
“What is angering people is the prospect that a property which has already been at the center of a multimillion-dollar controversy could require further investment simply to distance it from former occupants.”
Another thing is that “many taxpayers feel they've been dragged into the Frogmore saga for years and have little appetite for hearing that more money could now be spent changing things all over again," as the source revealed.
“The costs could run into the millions and it is essentially a bitter revenge project to erase all signs of Harry and Meghan from royal grounds.”
For those unversed, Frogmore was a wedding present to the Sussexes, by the late Queen Elizabeth and has been at the center of controversy for years. Not only because of the multi-million pound has renovation cost it incurred to be ‘habitable’ for Prince harry and his wife, only to be abandoned a year later.
However, following that they paid back those costs to British taxpayers. After that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor brought it back into the public view because he refused to move into the same property and now the news speaks about it getting its renovations stripped down, to return it to its past image, before 2018.
