Madonna announces new studio album 'Confession II'
Madonna shares exciting details about her forthcoming studio album 'Confession II'
Madonna, the Queen of Pop, is currently working on her new album.
At the Tribeca Festival on Friday, June 5, the 67-year-old American singer-songwriter and record producer surprised her fans by giving an unplanned concert.
During her surprise show at New York City’s Times Square, Madonna hinted at her forthcoming album titled Confession II with a wild short film after her “a transcendent journey that catapults the viewer through a f****-up night out.”
Notably, Confession II, the fifteenth studio album of the Like a Virgin songstress, is the sequel to her iconic 2005 record, Confessions on a Dance Floor.
Also, the clip, which was directed by Solomon Chase and David Tori, has some parts of the first six songs included in the album, such as Read My Lips, One Step Away, Good for the Soul, and Danceteria. It also features previously released songs Bring Your Love and I Feel So Free.
In the film Madonna can also be seen sitting in a field, navigating a web of lasers, which are beamed from the crotches of dozens of women. It also captured her sitting in an apartment while a helmet-clad women carrying video cameras break down the door and burst in.
It is pertinent to mention that Confession II is set to be released on July 3, 2026.
